Holly Graf Mistreats Crew Members, Races Ship, Still in Service

Picture this- the captain of a destroyer has been cruelly mistreating their 400 member crew for quite some. Actions such as threatening their lives, grabbing an officer by the throat, throwing hard items at officers and crew members alike, and ordering crew members to lie about incidents which occur on the ship are commonplace everyday occurrences. There has even been a documented and photographed race, involving the destroyer, and another, which almost ends in a collision. On another day, the captain ran down a whale and threatened the crew members if any of them took pictures of the mutilated animal. Reportedly, crew emails were even shut down that day to cover up the actions of the captain. One would think that once the evidence of many of these actions were given, and the captain found guilty, that there would at least be a court marshal, you’d assume. Well if you made that assumption about the Navy’s first female skipper of a guided-missile cruiser, you assumed wrong!
A U.S.Naval Officer by the name of Holly Graf, the former skipper of the guided missile cruiser USS Cowpens, due to her alleged attack on a crew member, and other actions, will not be court-marshaled, but instead sent to a plush Pentagon post, despite the fact that she was relieved of her command for “cruelty and maltreatment” as well as “conduct unbecoming an officer.” You can also read an article here telling of Graf using the destroyer, with 400 crew members as a racing boat, putting the lives of her crew, and as well of the lives of the other crew at great risk when she refused to let the sound a Collision Alarm, just 300 feet from crashing into the other ship. Pictures can be seen on that page as well.
Apparently, putting your hands on a crew member, any crew member, much less an officer, is a big no no, and pretty much means you are OUT, but many are saying that the Pentagon is trying to protect it’s female former captain, as a matter of “political correctness.” She had the support of her sister, who is a Flag Officer, her dad, who is a Four Striper, and, of course, a few female activist groups. One of the most fierce groups in her corner has been “The Sisterhood” who is a small, powerful group of lesbian senior officers at the Pentagon.(Who knew? And since when does sexual preference (OR GENDER) give anyone more voice in the Pentagon?!?!) According to these women, Holy Graf is never wrong, and they see any criticism aimed at her as “sexist.”
So, although she is guilty enough to lose her command she will not be court-marshaled, but sent to a cushy office job in the Pentagon, where she apparently has many friends to keep her company. Hurray for “political correctness!”
